Gij drenkt haar voren, bevochtigt haar kluiten, En maakt ze door regenslag week. Dan zegent Gij haar kiemen,

Thou waterest the ridges thereof abundantly: thou settlest the furrows thereof: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing thereof.
