Psalmen 63:1

Een psalm van David, toen hij in de woestijn van Juda vertoefde. God, wat verlang ik naar U; mijn God, naar U dorst mijn ziel, Naar U smacht mijn lichaam als een dor en droog land naar het water.

O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;
