சங்கீதங்கள் 55:23

தேவனே, நீர் அவர்களை அழிவின் குழியில் இறங்கச்செய்வீர்; இரத்தப்பிரியர்களும் சூதுள்ள மனிதர்களும் தங்களுடைய ஆயுளின் நாட்களில் பாதிவரைகூட பிழைத்திருக்கமாட்டார்கள்; நானோ உம்மை நம்பியிருக்கிறேன்.

But thou, O God, shalt bring them down into the pit of destruction: bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days; but I will trust in thee.
