उसके मुँह की बातें तो मक्खन सी चिकनी थी परन्तु उसके मन में लड़ाई की बातें थीं; उसके वचन तेल से अधिक नरम तो थे परन्तु नंगी तलवारें थीं।

The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords.
