சங்கீதங்கள் 51:4

தேவனே உம் ஒருவருக்கே விரோதமாக நான் பாவம்செய்து, உமது கண்களுக்கு முன்பாகப் பொல்லாங்கானதை செய்தேன்; நீர் பேசும்போது உம்முடைய நீதி வெளிப்படவும், நீர் நியாயந்தீர்க்கும்போது, உம்முடைய பரிசுத்தம் வெளிப்படவும் இதை அறிக்கையிடுகிறேன்.

Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.
