അവൻ എനിക്കു സ്നേഹിതനോ സഹോദരനോ എന്നപോലെ ഞാൻ പെരുമാറി; അമ്മയെക്കുറിച്ചു ദുഃഖിക്കുന്നവനെപ്പോലെ ഞാൻ ദുഃഖിച്ചു കുനിഞ്ഞുനടന്നു.

I behaved myself as though he had been my friend or brother: I bowed down heavily, as one that mourneth for his mother.
