เพราะพระองค์​มิได้​ทรงดู​ถู​กหรือสะอิดสะเอียนต่อความทุกข์ยากของผู้​ที่​​ทุกข์ใจ​ และพระองค์​มิได้​ทรงซ่อนพระพักตร์จากเขา เมื่อเขาร้องทูล ​พระองค์​ทรงสดับ

For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.
