எங்களுடைய முன்னோர்கள் எகிப்திலே உம்முடைய அதிசயங்களை உணராமலும், உம்முடைய கிருபைகளின் பெருக்கத்தை நினைக்காமலும் போய், சிவந்த கடலின் ஓரத்திலே கலகம்செய்தார்கள்.

Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea.
