சங்கீதங்கள் 106:38

அவர்கள் கானான் தேசத்து சிலைகளுக்கு பலியிட்டு, தங்களுடைய மகன்கள் மகள்களுடைய குற்றமில்லாத இரத்தத்தைச் சிந்தினார்கள்; தேசம் இரத்தத்தால் தீட்டுப்பட்டது.

And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.
