నీ స్నేహితుడినైనా నీ తండ్రి స్నేహితుడినైనా విడిచి పెట్టవద్దు. నీ ఆపద దినాన నీ అన్నదమ్ముల ఇళ్ళకు వెళ్లకు. దూరంగా ఉన్న సోదరుడి కంటే దగ్గరున్న పొరుగువాడే మంచిది.

Thine own friend, and thy father’s friend, forsake not; neither go into thy brother’s house in the day of thy calamity: for better is a neighbour that is near than a brother far off.
