நீதிமொழிகள் 27:10

உன்னுடைய நண்பனையும், உன்னுடைய தகப்பனுடைய நண்பனையும் விட்டுவிடாதே; உன்னுடைய ஆபத்துக்காலத்தில் உன்னுடைய சகோதரனுடைய வீட்டிற்குப் போகாதே; தூரத்திலுள்ள சகோதரனைவிட சமீபத்திலுள்ள அயலானே சிறப்பானவன்.

Thine own friend, and thy father’s friend, forsake not; neither go into thy brother’s house in the day of thy calamity: for better is a neighbour that is near than a brother far off.
