வழியிலே போகும்போது தனக்கு சம்மந்தமில்லாத வழக்கில் தலையிடுகிறவன் நாயைக் காதைப் பிடித்து இழுக்கிறவனைப்போல இருக்கிறான்.

He that passeth by, and meddleth with strife belonging not to him, is like one that taketh a dog by the ears.
