ఫిలిప్పీయులకు రాసిన పత్రిక 3:8

వాస్తవంగా ఇప్పుడు మిగతా వాటన్నిటినీ నష్టంగా ఎంచుతున్నాను ఎందుకంటే నా ప్రభువైన యేసు క్రీస్తును ఎరగడమే ఎంతో శ్రేష్ఠమైన విషయం. ఆయనను బట్టి మిగతా వాటన్నిటినీ ఇష్టపూర్వకంగా తిరస్కరించాను. క్రీస్తును సంపాదించటానికి వాటిని చెత్తతో సమానంగా ఎంచాను.

Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
