เพื่อท่านทั้งหลายจะปราศจากตำหนิและไม่​มีความผิด​ ​เป็น​ ‘​บุ​ตรที่ปราศจากตำหนิของพระเจ้า’ ในท่ามกลาง ‘​ยุ​คที่คดโกงและวิปลาส’ ท่านปรากฏในหมู่พวกเขาดุจดวงสว่างต่างๆในโลก

That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
