พระเยโฮวาห์ตรั​สว​่า ในวันนั้นเราจะไม่ทำลายคนฉลาดให้​สิ​้นไปจากเอโดม และทำลายความเข้าใจเสียจากภูเขาเอซาวหรือ

Shall I not in that day, saith the LORD, even destroy the wise men out of Edom, and understanding out of the mount of Esau?
