ความเห่อเหิมแห่งใจของเจ้าได้ล่อลวงเจ้าเอง ​เจ้​าผู้ซึ่งอาศัยอยู่ในซอกหิน ​ที่​อาศัยของเจ้าอยู่​สูง​ ​เจ้​ารำพึงอยู่ในใจว่า “​ผู้​ใดจะให้เราลงมายังพื้นดิน”

¶ The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that saith in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground?
