எண்ணாகமம் 8:12

அதன்பின்பு லேவியர்கள் தங்களுடைய கைகளைக் காளைகளுடைய தலையின்மேல் வைக்கவேண்டும்; பின்பு நீ லேவியர்களுக்காகப் பாவநிவிர்த்தி செய்வதற்காக, யெகோவாவுக்கு அவைகளில் ஒன்றைப் பாவநிவாரணபலியாகவும், மற்றொன்றைச் சர்வாங்கதகனபலியாகவும் செலுத்தி,

And the Levites shall lay their hands upon the heads of the bullocks: and thou shalt offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, unto the LORD, to make an atonement for the Levites.
