అయితే కహాతు వాళ్లకి ఏమీ ఇవ్వలేదు. ఎందుకంటే వారి సేవ అంతా మందిరంలోని సామగ్రికీ వస్తువులకీ సంబంధించింది. వాటిని వారు తమ భుజాలపై మోసుకు వెళ్ళాలి. కాబట్టి వారికి బళ్ళు ఇవ్వలేదు.
