எண்ணாகமம் 3:9

ஆகையால் லேவியர்களை ஆரோனிடத்திலும் அவனுடைய மகன்களிடத்திலும் ஒப்புக்கொடு; இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களில் இவர்கள் முழுவதுமாக அவனுக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறார்கள்.

And thou shalt give the Levites unto Aaron and to his sons: they are wholly given unto him out of the children of Israel.
