கை தவறி ஒருவனைக் கொன்றவன் எவனோ, அவன் அங்கே ஓடிப்போயிருக்கும்படி, அந்த ஆறு பட்டணங்களும் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுக்கும் உங்களின் நடுவே இருக்கும் பரதேசிக்கும் அந்நியனுக்கும் அடைக்கலப்பட்டணங்களாக இருக்கவேண்டும்.

These six cities shall be a refuge, both for the children of Israel, and for the stranger, and for the sojourner among them: that every one that killeth any person unawares may flee thither.
