Numberi 35:33

Zo zult gij niet ontheiligen het land, waarin gij zijt; want het bloed ontheiligt het land; en voor het land zal geen verzoening gedaan worden over het bloed, dat daarin vergoten is, dan door het bloed desgenen, die dat vergoten heeft.

So ye shall not pollute the land wherein ye are: for blood it defileth the land: and the land cannot be cleansed of the blood that is shed therein, but by the blood of him that shed it.
