ગણના 35:12

આ નગરો તમારા માટે બદલો લેનારના હાથમાંથી રક્ષણાર્થે થાય, મનુષ્યઘાતકને ઇનસાફને સારુ જમાતની આગળ ખડો કરવામાં ન આવે ત્યાં સુધી તે દોષી ન ઠરે.

And they shall be unto you cities for refuge from the avenger; that the manslayer die not, until he stand before the congregation in judgment.
