മനശ്ശെയുടെ പുത്രനായ യായീർ ചെന്നു അതിലെ ഊരുകളെ അടക്കി, അവെക്കു ഹവവോത്ത്-യായീർ (യായീരിന്റെ ഊരുകൾ) എന്നു പേരിട്ടു.
