NUMERI 32:9

Perciocchè essi salirono fino alla Valle di Escol, e, dopo ch'ebbero veduto il paese, renderono fiacco il cuor de' figliuoli d'Israele, per non entrar nel paese che il Signore avea loro donato.

For when they went up unto the valley of Eshcol, and saw the land, they discouraged the heart of the children of Israel, that they should not go into the land which the LORD had given them.
