Ecco, esse furono quelle che, secondo la parola di Balaam, servirono a porgere a' figliuoli d'Israele cagione di misfatto contro al Signore, nel fatto di Peor; onde fu quella piaga nella raunanza del Signore.

Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the LORD.
