กันดารวิถี 30:2

เมื่อชายผู้ใดปฏิญาณไว้กับพระเยโฮวาห์ หรือให้​สัตย์​ปฏิญาณผูกมัดตัวไว้ด้วยคำสัญญาวิรัตอย่างหนึ่งอย่างใด อย่าให้เขาเสียวาจา เขาต้องกระทำตามคำที่ออกจากปากของเขาทั้งสิ้น

If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.
