ഞാൻ അവനെ കാണും, ഇപ്പോൾ അല്ലതാനും; ഞാൻ അവനെ ദർശിക്കും, അടുത്തല്ലതാനും. യാക്കോബിൽനിന്നു ഒരു നക്ഷത്രം ഉദിക്കും; യിസ്രായേലിൽനിന്നു ഒരു ചെങ്കോൽ ഉയരും. അതു മോവാബിന്റെ പാർശ്വങ്ങളെയെല്ലാം തകർക്കയും തുമുലപുത്രന്മാരെ ഒക്കെയും സംഹരിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth.
