C’est un peuple qui se lève comme une lionne, Et qui se dresse comme un lion; Il ne se couche point jusqu’à ce qu’il ait dévoré la proie, Et qu’il ait bu le sang des blessés.

Behold, the people shall rise up as a great lion, and lift up himself as a young lion: he shall not lie down until he eat of the prey, and drink the blood of the slain.
