కాబట్టి నువ్వు దయచేసి వచ్చి నా కోసం ఈ జనాన్ని శపించు. వారు నాకంటే చాలా బలవంతులు. ఒకవేళ నేను వారి మీద దాడి చేసి వారిని ఈ ప్రదేశం నుంచి తరమగలుగుతానేమో. ఎందుకంటే నువ్వు దీవించినవాడికి దీవెన, శపించిన వాడికి శాపం కలుగుతాయని నాకు తెలుసు” అని అన్నాడు.

Come now therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people; for they are too mighty for me: peradventure I shall prevail, that we may smite them, and that I may drive them out of the land: for I wot that he whom thou blessest is blessed, and he whom thou cursest is cursed.
