ബാലാക്ക് ബിലെയാമിനോടു: “ഞാൻ നിന്നെ വിളിപ്പാൻ ആളയച്ചില്ലയോ? നീ വരാതിരുന്നതു എന്തു? നിന്നെ ബഹുമാനിപ്പാൻ എനിക്കു കഴികയില്ലയോ” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞതിന്നു ബിലെയാം ബാലാക്കിനോടു:

And Balak said unto Balaam, Did I not earnestly send unto thee to call thee? wherefore camest thou not unto me? am I not able indeed to promote thee to honour?
