ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ഏറ്റവും ബഹുമാനിക്കും; നീ എന്നോടു പറയുന്നതൊക്കെയും ഞാൻ ചെയ്യാം; വന്നു എനിക്കുവേണ്ടി ഈ ജനത്തെ ശപിക്കേണമേ’ എന്നു സിപ്പോരിന്റെ മകനായ ബാലാക്ക് പറയുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

For I will promote thee unto very great honour, and I will do whatsoever thou sayest unto me: come therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people.
