ગધેડી યહોવાહના દૂતને જોઈને બલામ સાથે નીચે બેસી પડી. બલામને ગુસ્સો આવ્યો અને તેણે ગધેડીને લાકડીથી મારી.

And when the ass saw the angel of the LORD, she fell down under Balaam: and Balaam’s anger was kindled, and he smote the ass with a staff.
