Lumapit ang mga tao kay Moises at sinabin, “Nagkasala kami dahil nagsalita kami laban kay Yahweh at sa iyo. Magdasal ka kay Yahweh upang ilayo niya ang mga ahas mula sa amin.” Kaya nagdasal si Moises para sa mga tao.

¶ Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.
