De vandrade [söderut] från berget Hor i riktning mot Vasshavet (hebr. jam sof) [Röda havet] för att gå runt Edom [eftersom Edoms kung inte tillät dem passera, se 4 Mos 20:21]. Under vandringen [den långa omvägen] blev folket otåligt,
