NUMERI 21:26

Perciocchè Hesbon era la città di Sihon, re degli Amorrei, il quale era stato il primo che avea guerreggiato contro al re di Moab, e gli avea tolto tutto il suo paese, fino all'Arnon.

For Heshbon was the city of Sihon the king of the Amorites, who had fought against the former king of Moab, and taken all his land out of his hand, even unto Arnon.
