गिनती 21:2

तब इस्राएलियों ने यहोवा से यह कहकर मन्नत मानी, “यदि तू सचमुच उन लोगों को हमारे वश में कर दे, तो हम उनके नगरों को सत्यानाश कर देंगे।”

And Israel vowed a vow unto the LORD, and said, If thou wilt indeed deliver this people into my hand, then I will utterly destroy their cities.
