4 Moseboken 1:1

Och Herren (Jahveh) talade till Mose i Sinai öken [2 Mos 19:1], i mötestältet (tabernaklet – hebr. ohel moed), på den första dagen i den andra månaden [ijar – april/maj], det andra året [14 månader] efter att de kommit ut ur Egypten [tabernaklet hade varit uppsatt i en månad, se 2 Mos 40:17], och sa:

And the LORD spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of the congregation, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,
