மனிதரிலும் மிருகங்களிலும் அவர்கள் யெகோவாவுக்குச் செலுத்தும் எல்லா மிருகங்களுக்குள்ளே கர்ப்பந்திறந்து பிறக்கும் யாவும் உனக்கு உரியதாக இருக்கும்; ஆனாலும் மனிதரின் முதற்பேற்றை கொல்லப்படாத நியமத்தின்படி மீட்கவேண்டும்; தீட்டான மிருகஜீவனின் தலையீற்றையும் மீட்கவேண்டும்.

Every thing that openeth the matrix in all flesh, which they bring unto the LORD, whether it be of men or beasts, shall be thine: nevertheless the firstborn of man shalt thou surely redeem, and the firstling of unclean beasts shalt thou redeem.
