తరువాత రోజు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల సమాజమంతా మోషే అహరోనులను విమర్శిస్తూ “మీరు యెహోవా ప్రజలను చంపారు” అని చెప్పి,

¶ But on the morrow all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, Ye have killed the people of the LORD.
