De skulle vara till en påminnelse för Israels barn att ingen främling som inte var av Arons släkt skulle träda fram och tända rökelse inför Herrens ansikte, för att inte bli som Kora och hans grupp – allt i enlighet med vad Herren hade sagt honom genom Mose.
