എന്നാൽ ഇറച്ചി അവരുടെ പല്ലിന്നിടയിൽ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അതു ചവെച്ചിറക്കും മുമ്പെ തന്നേ യഹോവയുടെ കോപം ജനത്തിന്റെ നേരെ ജ്വലിച്ചു, യഹോവ ജനത്തെ ഒരു മഹാബാധകൊണ്ടു സംഹരിച്ചു.
