Lalu TUHAN mendatangkan angin dari laut yang menerbangkan banyak sekali burung puyuh. Burung-burung itu terdampar di perkemahan Israel dan sekitarnya, bertumpuk-tumpuk hingga kira-kira satu meter tingginya. Burung-burung itu menutupi tanah hingga sejauh beberapa kilometer di sekeliling perkemahan.
