และพระองค์ทรงเห็​นว​่าน้ำใจของท่านสัตย์ซื่อต่อพระพักตร์​พระองค์​ และพระองค์​ได้​ทรงกระทำพันธสัญญากั​บท​่าน ​ที่​จะประทานแผ่นดินของคนคานาอัน คนฮิตไทต์ คนอาโมไรต์ คนเปริสซี คนเยบุส และคนเกอร์กาชี​ให้​​แก่​เชื้อสายของท่าน และพระองค์ทรงกระทำให้คำตรัสของพระองค์​สำเร็จ​ เพราะพระองค์​ชอบธรรม​
