நெகேமியா 9:30

நீர் அநேக வருடங்களாக அவர்கள்மேல் பொறுமையாக இருந்து, உம்முடைய ஆவியினால் பேசின உம்முடைய தீர்க்கதரிசிகளைக்கொண்டு அவர்களை கடினமாக கடிந்துகொண்டாலும், அவர்கள் கேட்காமல்போனதாலே அவர்களை அந்நிய தேசத்துமக்களின் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தீர்.

Yet many years didst thou forbear them, and testifiedst against them by thy spirit in thy prophets: yet would they not give ear: therefore gavest thou them into the hand of the people of the lands.
