De vägrade lyssna och tänkte inte på undren du gjort bland dem. De var hårdnackade och i sin upproriskhet valde de en ledare för att vända tillbaka till sitt slaveri. Men du är en Gud som förlåter, nådig (full av kärleksfull omsorg) och barmhärtig, sen till vrede och stor i nåd (omsorgsfull kärlek). Du övergav dem inte.

And refused to obey, neither were mindful of thy wonders that thou didst among them; but hardened their necks, and in their rebellion appointed a captain to return to their bondage: but thou art a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and forsookest them not.
