NEEMIA 9:17

e ricusarono di ubbidire, e non si ricordarono delle tue maraviglie, che tu avevi operate inverso loro; e indurarono il lor collo; e nella lor ribellione si vollero costituire un capo per ritornare alla lor servitù. Ma tu che sei l'Iddio de' perdoni, pietoso, misericordioso, lento all'ira, e di gran benignità, non li abbandonasti.

And refused to obey, neither were mindful of thy wonders that thou didst among them; but hardened their necks, and in their rebellion appointed a captain to return to their bondage: but thou art a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and forsookest them not.
