நெகேமியா 5:18

நாளொன்றுக்கு ஒரு காளையும், முதல்தரமான ஆறு ஆடுகளும் சமைக்கப்பட்டது; பறவைகளும் சமைக்கப்பட்டது; பத்துநாளைக்கு ஒருமுறை பலவித திராட்சைரசமும் செலவழிந்தது; இப்படியெல்லாம் இருந்தபோதும், இந்த மக்கள் பட்டபாடு கடினமாக இருந்ததால், ஆளுநர்கள் வாங்குகிற பணத்தை நான் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளவில்லை.

Now that which was prepared for me daily was one ox and six choice sheep; also fowls were prepared for me, and once in ten days store of all sorts of wine: yet for all this required not I the bread of the governor, because the bondage was heavy upon this people.
