NEEMIA 5:15

Benchè i precedenti governatori ch'erano stati davanti a me, avessero gravato il popolo, e avessero presa quella da lui, in pane ed in vino; e dipoi in quaranta sicli d'argento; e che anche i lor servitori avessero signoreggiato sopra il popolo; ma io non feci così, per lo timor di Dio.

But the former governors that had been before me were chargeable unto the people, and had taken of them bread and wine, beside forty shekels of silver; yea, even their servants bare rule over the people: but so did not I, because of the fear of God.
