നെഹെമ്യാവു 2:17

അനന്തരം ഞാൻ അവരോടു: യെരൂശലേം ശൂന്യമായും അതിന്റെ വാതിലുകൾ തീകൊണ്ടു വെന്തും കിടക്കുന്നതായി നാം അകപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ അനർത്ഥം നിങ്ങൾ കാണുന്നുവല്ലോ; വരുവിൻ; നാം ഇനിയും നിന്ദാപാത്രമായിരിക്കാതവണ്ണം യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ മതിൽ പണിയുക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

¶ Then said I unto them, Ye see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lieth waste, and the gates thereof are burned with fire: come, and let us build up the wall of Jerusalem, that we be no more a reproach.
