Nehemja 1:6

Låt dina öron vara uppmärksamma och dina ögon öppna, så att du kan lyssna till bönen från din tjänare, som jag ber inför dig denna dag, både dag och natt på uppdrag av dina tjänare, Israels barn. Jag bekänner Israels barns synder, som vi har begått (syndat) mot dig. Jag och min faders hus har syndat.

Let thine ear now be attentive, and thine eyes open, that thou mayest hear the prayer of thy servant, which I pray before thee now, day and night, for the children of Israel thy servants, and confess the sins of the children of Israel, which we have sinned against thee: both I and my father’s house have sinned.
